Indianapolis Sees Growth in New Jobs

Indianapolis Economic Development Inc. (IEDI) is reporting a 33 percent increase in new jobs in the first quarter, compared to the same period in 2008. The organization says it participated in 16 projects involving $26.5 million in capital investment. This is the second best start to the year in terms of number of new jobs in the past seven years.
