Interesting numbers were released on August 20, 2009 by the Indiana Association of Realtors.. take a look below!

Marion County # of units sold were down 6.7%; however, the average sales price increased 3.9% to $100,000.
Boone County did not fare as well. Units sold were down 1.3% which is respectable, however, the average sales price declined 28.7% (From $230,000 to $164,000).
Hamilton County. # of units sold was down 4.1% and the average sales price was down 9.1% to an average of $190,450.
If you live in Hamilton County, on average, your home has dropped almost 10% in value over the past 12 months. Keep in mind, real estate is a 'LOCAL' market.. some communities are doing much better than others.
