In different parts of the nation the NAR report showed the median prices and percentages for the 2nd quarter of 2007 from a year ago were:  Northeast, $298,000, up 0.7 percent; Midwest,$163,500, down 2.2 percent; South, $185,000,down 1.6 percent; and the West, $349,400, down 0.4 percent.  The new-home median price in the United States also slumped falling 11.1 percent from March to April of this year.  It was the largest monthly decline on record.
