Lately, we have noticed a positive change in this roller-coaster of a real estate market!  The number of showings scheduled on our current listings for sale have increased by nearly 48% within the past 60 days. Comparatively, we have seen a steady increase of open house traffic within the past few weeks at our listings. The holidays are over, the weather should start to change and that is the time when people come out of their shell and start looking to buy!  If you are currently trying to sell your home, HANG IN THERE...we are starting to see signs of a pick up in the market! 

Just today, I heard from a fellow title representative whose sister just bought a home and was able to lock into a fixed mortgage rate of 4.5% with no points for fifteen years!!!  A year ago, that was unheard of. Today's rates are exceptional!  If you are thinking of buying a home, take advantage of the low mortgage rates and the massive inventory of homes on the market for you to pick and choose from.  There are a lot of motivated sellers out there, ready to make a deal...they are just waiting for you to make your move!
